GUARANTEE AND PAYMENT
To confirm your reservation, an advanced payment for your stay will be required, in accordance with the terms of your booking. As a general rule, all payments should be made online using a bank card (debit or credit), for which we provide a payment link by e-mail upon the receipt of your reservation. In order to confirm your reservation, 100% of the booking value must be paid up to 30 days before check-in (or 15 days in low season), or at time of purchase for the non-refundable rate, either in concept of the payment or in concept of cancellation charges. No cash payments are accepted, and we don´t accept card details in order to make the charge. Invoices will be issued on the the day of check-out and copies can be sent upon request. The guest is responsible for the online advanced payment of the reservation, extra services, or to cover cancellation expenses or damages. Other payment methods and terms are possible and are to be specified in all cases before the reservation is processed.
The payment must be done in advance according to the cancellation terms of your reservation, otherwise the reservation will be canceled. A reminder will be sent by e-mail before proceeding with the cancellation at lack of confirmation. In case you need to cancel after payment but still within the free cancellation period of your rate, the paid amount will be refunded. For cancellations made after the free cancellation period, please contact us.
Group reservations (3 apartments or more) require a 25% advance payment, payable upon booking. The same applies to any stay from three weeks, or reservations of one week or more during the Summer season (June-August), as a guarantee of reservation. Advance payments are refundable if the reservation is canceled more than two months before check-in. After that they will not be refunded. For cancellations made up to one month before check-in, we provide a gift card in the amount of the deposit for a future reservation.
COVID ASSISTANCE INSURANCE
All rates of our website include an insurance (ARAG S.E., Spanish Branch) to cover risks arising from the pandemic Covid-19 during the stay of our guests. These include transfer and repatriation (full costs), local medical and healthcare assistance (up to 3,500 €), telematic medical consultation (ARAG service), travel (full cost) and subsistence costs (limited, up to 10 days) of a family member, convalescence expenses in a hotel (limited, up to 10 days), or compensation for major disruption to the holiday due to Covid 19 pandemia. The person making the reservation must be an adult and responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. The name of the guest that appears in the reservation must coincide with the name of the credit card holder used to make the payments (except in the case of agencies). The guest is responsible for the online payment of the reservation, extra services, or to cover cancellation expenses or damages.
The information provided will be saved on a secure server, and we guarantee that it will only be used for the purpose for which it has been provided, in accordance with the legal requirements.
As a general rule, cancellation is free if carried out 30 or 15 days or one week – depending on the terms of your reservation – before the check-in date. After this period, the cancellation cost will be 100% of the value of the reservation. Any modification or cancellation made out of the free cancellation term, or a no-show, will incur a cost of the total amount of the reservation. In the event of special rates with different cancellation terms, offers, or non-refundable rates that do not accept cancellations, these will be expressly indicated before a reservation is processed. In the event of any need for cancellation after the free cancellation period, please contact us. In case the canceled dates will be re-booked, a Gift Card will be provided in the full or partial amount – depending on the number of days re-booked – for a future reservation.
We reserve the right to change the rented apartment for one with similar or better characteristics, in the case of exceptional and justified events. These changes shall be at no extra cost to the guest.
The maximum number of people admitted is defined in the description of the rental rate, according to the conditions of your reservation. The base rate is for an occupancy of two people, accommodated in a queen-size double bed. Any further occupancy, where allowed, shall be for children up to 10 years old in extra bed, and subject to a specific rate, or supplement per additional person. Babies, where allowed, shall be admitted subject to a single fee for which we provide a Baby Kit, to ensure a comfortable stay. For security reasons, visits to the apartments or their use by non-registered guests is not allowed. The accommodation is non-transferable.
Our guests have the right to occupy the accommodation from 4 p.m. on day of arrival of the contract period until 11 a.m. on the day of departure. By agreement between the parties, a different arrangement may be established. Failure to vacate the room at the agreed time will result in the obligation to pay for a further day. In the event of an extended stay, there must always be an agreement between the parties.
By legislative prescription, people wishing to make use of the accommodation and its services, must register their identification documentation data for the purpose of their admission to and registration in the establishment. There is no Front Desk in the property, the check-in will be done on-line (auto-checkin), for independent access to the apartment with a personalised code. The check-in exclusively can be made online, prior to arrival, for which we provide a secure weblink. The access information will be sent by e-mail to the guest.
A security deposit of 300 Eur can be requested, which will be returned upon check-out, provided no damage has been caused. Barracart Apartments reserves the right, in the event of any type of damage, deterioration or theft by the guests in the apartment or any other installation, to claim from them the corresponding compensation. In the event of smoking in the apartment, which is explicitly prohibited, the required indemnification will be equivalent to two nights stay for deodorization.
USE OF FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT
Our facilities and equipment are in perfect condition for use. Their use is made for the exclusive responsibility of the guest. Instructions for the usage of the home appliances are available in different languages. Barracart Apartments is not liable for claims for any bodily harm or material damage caused to yourself during the usage of its equipment or facilities. Barracart Apartments also declines all responsibility for any damage caused to third parties. In order to guarantee the security, privacy and peace of mind of the guests, this establishment has electronic surveillance devices with permanent recording elements in corridors and other communal areas. The Management declines all responsibility for the loss of money, documents or other articles kept in the apartments or the building, as well as for any damage caused by guests to third parties.
