TELEAIRE ISSUING A REPORT ON CABANYAL
Teleaire, the prestigious travel and tourism experiences channel, broadcasts a report about our Cabanyal – Canyamelar neighborhood, making mention of our apartments Barracart.
Alejandro Martinez Notte, director of Teleaire, is a minimalist Argentine who with little more than a camera, microphone and four changes of clothes travels the world sharing with his audience his particular vision of destinations.
Martinez Notte visited us in February and he liked the Cabanyal – Canyamelar so much that he has returned in the summer with his colleague and friend Worldlando, another globetrotting youtuber (here is the link to the Worldlando video).
With respect to other tourist reports, the Teleaire program keeps the peculiarity of giving voice to neighbours and entrepreneurs who have been able to explain in the first person who we are and the social, political and economic situation that the neighbourhood has experienced during the last decades. A monographic report that broadens the traditional tourist vision and delves into the feelings of the neighbours.
These are Martinez Notte’s words about the Martinez Notte about the Cabanyal – Canyamelar neighborhood and about our Barracart apartments:
“I am a digital nomad and I have travelled all over the world, so I dare to confirm that Valencia is a Mediterranean jewel that no one should miss; Nor should anyone miss one of its star neighbourhoods, I refer to the picturesque Cabanyal – Canyamelar.
A neighbourhood that smells of the sea, traditions, culture, tapas, paella and bohemia. It is like a small town camouflaged in a big city. I have been very pleasantly surprised by its modernist coloured houses and the popularity that this recognized area is acquiring, visited by tourists from all over the world.
El Cabanyal – Canyamelar contains the paradox of being cosmopolitan and picturesque, traditional and modern at the same time. I came for the first time in February and I have returned in August, and I can see that the neighbourhood is changing at a dizzying speed. In a few months, dozens of recently renovated houses, new shops and restaurants have appeared. It really is highly recommended.
As accommodation my indisputable proposal are the Barracart apartments. When you travel continuously, there comes a time when you get tired of hotels that look like hotels and what you want is to feel at home. Barracart offers this peculiarity. It is a restored house full of surprising details such as a headboard that is an old door, a vintage desk, a Zen corner to read without being disturbed. It is the ideal rest for traveling warriors.”
